The North Star Club | A Family Stay continued
If you havenāt read part one (please see it here)
Sunday began all misty moody and magical, so I went on a solo walk with my camera to catch it before it all faded away.
When I got back the sun was fighting to break through and the children were already outside rearranging the woodland and still working on the den. We then walked and walked and got lost and found, picked up sticks, saw rabbits, popped into the Woodshed for a bit of guitar āpractiseā, before deciding it must be time to light the communal fire and toast marshmallows!
Thank goodness there was this beautiful woodland to run off the almighty sugar rush!
Carolyn & Christian also have another project 25 mins drive from the North Star Club called Northwood Trail, we were visiting the day after Halloween and the trail had spooky additions but itās magical regardless, the fairy houses and the attention to details is wondrous, I was soon believing that fairies lived in these intricate tree house villages. I wish we had more time to explore but definitely another reason to return.
If you missed the first post please do go back and have a read about The North Star Club and our time exploring there. As I mentioned in that post, our stay was gifted in exchange for photography but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
We had an incredible time, both places are incredibly healing, being in and surrounded by nature, allowing the children the freedom to explore and feel free in a safe space was an incredible gift. I know they loved it, as did we as grown ups. The attention to detail from The Woodshed, to our Woodland Suite, to the Fairy Houses is crafted with style and love and brings such delight. Iām very, very grateful we got to experience it and I know we will be back.
Thank you Carolyn and Christian from all of us, Catherine, Michael, Eden & Haven x
